Note: When framing a canvas print, it will be dry mounted onto foam core backing for framing. If you would like to have your framed canvas print stretched instead of dry mounted, please contact our Web Sales Department by phone at 1.866.386.1933 or 808.673.4721. Additional charges apply.

Does the image on your site accurately represent what I will receive?

We strive for total image accuracy. However, in some cases, the visual representation may be approximate. This is especially true of our wood veneer frames, which will vary from piece to piece due to inherent differences in wood grain. This is considered a natural characteristic of wood and is not considered a product defect.

Please note: Due to the nature of metal print products, minor surface imperfections such as bubbles or bumps may appear on the surface of the print. We will make every effort to place the image so any imperfections are as inconspicuous as possible. Remakes are not possible due to minor imperfections in the product's surface.

We use Chromaluxe aluminum, proudly produced in the USA and tested to last longer than all other competing products currently on the market.

Image Files

What file formats do you accept?

The following image formats are accepted: JPG, TIFF, PDF, PNG, GIF, BMP, ICO, SVG, EPS, PSD, WebP. Any image with layers, such as PSD, must be flattened before uploading.

What image resolution should my image be?

Image quality can vary greatly depending on a number of factors. Image quality should be assessed based on the pixels rather than the file size or format. Generally, any image with pixel dimensions in the thousands should be sufficient to print, while images with pixel dimensions in the hundreds will have poor print quality. To confirm pixel dimensions, right click the image file, select "Properties", and view pixel dimensions in the "Details" tab. If you’re unsure whether your image will be adequate for printing, upload it to the image uploader. Any size that will not print sufficiently will be automatically removed from your selection options.

Canvas is a great medium for printing large prints because it has a high tolerance for imperfections and is typically viewed from further away than a photo, which allows for stunning prints to be produced from moderately-sized files.

Aluminum prints produce glossy images with rich colors and incredible sharpness. As a result, metal prints require image files that are larger in relation to printed output than that of canvas.

Care & Display

How do I care for my prints?

While our prints are very durable, we recommend displaying them in a dry area out of direct sunlight to prolong the vibrancy of the print. Under normal lighting conditions, your prints will last for generations without noticeable fading. To clean your prints, dust them off with a soft cotton cloth or duster. Do not use cleaners, solvents or other liquids when cleaning your canvas or metal prints.

How do I hang my prints?

All canvas prints and framed items come ready to hang. Unframed metal prints in size 5” x 7” or 4” x 6” come with an easel back. Unless otherwise specified, all other size metal prints come standard with a mounting back, which consists of a standard drywall hook and hanging wire attached to the backside of a block. Prints with a mounting back will hang off the wall approximately .75"

An easel back can be substituted on a metal print up to size 11” x 14” by picking "easel back" in the finishing options.
